Much Prayer Needed

Good morning to all of you who pray regularly for us. There is so much to report and so much that we need you to be praying for right now. God has been so good to us over the past months but there have also been some hard parts to walk through on our journey as a Foundation.

• Vancouver – The SA Foundation

– On April 18, 2021 Dominique went to be with the Lord. It is always a surprise when that happens. Though we are thrilled with her home coming into the Lord’s presence we also feel a huge gap with her absence. However, Dom prepared us well to continue the work that the Lord had used her to start. We at the SA Foundation continue to carry on and do the work and carry out the calling from the Lord.God has given us a great team to work with in doing that.

– Pray for us as a team as we work through our sense of grief as well as picking up the work that she left behind for us. There is a lot to do and yet the steps are not unclear.

– Pray for the ongoing work of the Foundation in fundraising and fund development in a world changed by COVID-19. God is enabling us to be creative in the work and using new methods and tools to do the work.

– Pray for the Team in the Vancouver Genesis Program – leaders and staff who continue to deliver the program to the women and children in our house and Day Program.

• Budapest – The Anonymous Ways Foundation

– Pray for the ongoing work of the courageous team and volunteers our program in Budapest. The work goes on with creativity and strength as they work in a system troubled with COVID-19. The house and Day Program continues to provide safety and recovery to the women and their children who come to them.

– Pray for their ongoing fund development as they continue to raise support from their own country through churches, business, organizations and individuals. They have a great team of volunteers working making them more visible to the funding community.

– Pray for the key leader and founder of the Foundation, Ildi, who is engaged in a battle with cancer. She will be undergoing radiation in the near future to fight the cancer. Pray for her strength, recovery and health as she goes through this battle.

– Pray for the rest of the team as they carry on their work and hers during this time of treatment. Pray that God would keep them healthy, strong, and united in their work of the women and children in their program.

• Nepal – The Gentle Heart Foundation

-Nepal is in a complete lock down with higher percentage  cases of COVID-19 per population numbers than India. They are experiencing high number of daily deaths. The Gentle Heart Foundation is impacted by this in that the program house and staff are under lock down and there is a limited number of staff that can come and go in the house and Day Program. Pray for the protection of the women and children and staff and leaders as they work during this time of COVID-19.

– Pray for the fact that we are no able to send the production material to the program for Global Wonders and they cannot send it out to us either.  This means that production for the Fall is curtailed for now. Pray for the team there as they creatively manage the work of production to sell locally in some way.

– Pray for the Executive Director, Arjun as he is undergoing tests for low pulse rate. Pray that the doctors can figure out what is going on with him during this time. Pray for peace for his large adopted family and the program who depend on him as well.

• All of the things going on at home and in our projects cause us to take a stand against our enemy who is attacking the work of the SA Foundation on all fronts by attacking the health of key leaders in our organizations. This is a time of great warfare with our enemy. Pray for us to stand defensively against this enemy and pray for the strength and safety of our leaders globally during this time.
